The Art of Mindful Living: 5 Daily Mindfulness Practices for a Peaceful and Successful Life
About
The Author, Thaw Zin, has spent over 30 years exploring and teaching mindfulness, blending the depth of traditional Buddhism with modern, practical approaches. He founded Wisdom Path Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, where he guides individuals and groups in mindfulness and “Applied Buddhism”. With formal studies in Theravada Buddhism from the University of Wisdom Land and his experiences as an MBSR teacher, Thaw Zin brings both wisdom and compassion to his teaching. Alongside his teaching, he works as a counsellor, psychologist, and writer, sharing mindfulness through many articles, eBooks, and paperback publications in both English and his native language, Myanmar. He also teaches “Applied Buddhism” courses on Udemy.
His book, “The Art of Mindful Living”, reflects his lifelong dedication to helping people live with awareness, balance, and peace — at every stage of life.
The Art of Mindful Living is divided into two parts:
Part 1 explores the science and philosophy of mindfulness, focusing on the mind–body connection as the foundation of awareness.
Part 2 offers practical guidance for daily mindfulness practices across different stages of life. Here, Thaw Zin presents three key approaches — Vipassana, Plum Village, and MBSR — and introduces five daily mindfulness practices thoughtfully designed for people of every age and background.
